One of the economic growth engines of the 21st century is biotechnology. It is industrial or scientific activities, including the use of or striving to use the living cells, their parts, or biologic macromolecules for various purposes.

Two certificated engineers Ulrich ir Manfred Berens embodied this idea and set up a company, which has developed into an international company. Germany-based company Bio-Circle Surface Technology GmbH with 25 years of experience in the development and manufacturing of environmentally and health friendly surface cleaning and care products entrusted the manufacturing of some of their products to the subsidiary company – UAB Bio Circle Balticum, set up in 2012 in Lithuania.
