BELARUS “PACKAGING & STORAGE” SPECIALIZED FORUM

“PACKAGING & STORAGE” SPECIALIZED FORUM will take from 29 September until 2 October, 2009 in National Exhibition Centre, Minsk, Belarus. It is sole presentation-and-exhibition project in Belarus dedicated to production and application of packaging, label, marking, packaging equipment, materials and innovation packaging technologies IN ALL BRANCHES OF INDUSTRY as well as matters of collecting, recycling, and utilization of packaging waste.
Fundamental project of SPECIALIZED FORUM “PACKAGING & STORAGE” is exhibition “WORLD OF PACKAGING”.
During 9 years of existing the exhibition “WORLD OF PACKAGING” increased in prestigious international arrangement completely dedicated to matters of packaging from A to Z.
Since 2004 the exhibition “WORLD OF PACKAGING” become member of authoritative International confederation of organizers of packaging exhibitions (COPE) and presents Belarus among 28 the very prestigious packaging exhibitions of world community.
ORGANIZERS: “EXPOFORUM” – Exhibition Company, and National Exhibition Centre “BELEXPO” through the support of Ministry of agriculture and food of Republic of Belarus, “Belgospischeprom” concern, Belarusian union of cooperative societies “Belkoopsojuz”, Ministry of natural resources and preservation of the environment of the Republic of Belarus, Ministry of Trade, and Department on business undertakings of Ministry of Economy of Republic of Belarus.
PURPOSE OF FORUM
To promote formation and development contemporary packaging-and-label branch, rigging Belarusian enterprises the newest packaging technologies, equipment, materials as well as interpretation of matters of recycling and reclamation of packaging waste, inculcation the newest, ecological-and-safe technologies of recycling of packaging waste.
EXPOSITION
Subject content of PACKAGING FORUM including four expositional projects: 10th International Specialized Exhibition “WORLD OF PACKAGING”, 7th International Specialized Salons “MODERN LABEL” and “POLYMERS & GLASS IN PACKAGING”, 2nd International Exhibition “STORAGE TECHNOLOGIES”, and large business program for specialists: International Business-Forum “PACKAGING & LABEL – 2009. RECYCLING – 2009”.
Exhibition “WORLD OF PACKAGING” proposes one's visitors next divisions: packaging materials and equipment, ready-made packaging, warehouse and transport packing, logistic, waste utilization, repacking.
Salon “MODERN LABEL” called upon to demonstrate consumables, equipment and technologies for label and packaging production making, attendant chemistry for printing, equipment for efficient label making on enterprises, label production for all industry branches, design and artistic appearance of label.
Salon “POLYMERS & GLASS IN PACKAGING” dedicated popular direction demonstrated large nomenclature of polymeric and combined materials, modern equipment, raw materials and technologies for polymeric packing articles production different functional setting.
Exhibition “STORAGE TECHNOLOGIES” presents following directions: construction of storage-houses and distribution centers; industrial and enterprises’ storages; modern conceptions of storage logistics, storage infrastructure; WMS-system of storage management, storage accounting; control and sorting technologies and equipment; RFID-technologies; SCM-system of the delivery chain management; EPR-systems for the retail trade management; automatic storage, automatic equipment for inside logistics of enterprises and distribution centers, conveyer systems, automatic commission and sorting systems; equipment and machinery for storage, lifting cranes lifting-and-loading machinery; systems of safety and video control, storage safety provision; storage and trade complexes cleaning; industrial, storage and transportation containers, bar-codes and marking.

PACKAGING FORUM’2008 united 96 Companies from 13 Countries: Belarus, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Nederland, Romania, Poland, USA, Ukraine, and Czech Republic.
5047 specialists have visited the exhibition during 4 days. Among the visitors were representatives of:

In fifth time on exhibition will work International Business-Forum “PACKAGING & LABEL – 2008. RECYCLING – 2008”. Following the existing traditions, within the framework of SPECIALIZED FORUM “PACKAGING & STORAGE will be held presentations of new production, equipment, round tables, and thematic seminars as well as 10th Republican Contest for the best packaging and label “GOLDEN NUT”, and competition of student works “PACKAGING OF FUTURE”.
